First make darn sure it is the correct basic brass to begin with. I am aware of their H&R belted basic but have not seen them offer the correct basic for the new Ruger rounds. But in general if you get the right brass then yes you run it into the correct die and use it. It likely would be wise to anneal it first and depending on how far you need to take it down you might have to do it in steps and not all at once.
