Remington 11-87 maintenance
« on: October 18, 2009, 03:27:59 PM »
Does anyone know how long the recoil spring is supposed to be?  My old one is 14.5" long - I think if it weakens down to 14" you're supposed to replace it.  I remember finding a very good 11-87 maintenance website once that had the answer, but I can't find it now.  Anyone know that website?

Ya change it if and when it stops working right. I don't think the 11-87 has been around long enough yet to need replacement. It likely will outlast you.
