Just bought a new T3 in 7MM-08. Gun shoots great with 140 BT and 140 Rems. I'm wondering if anyone out there ever had a barrel cut down to 18 1/2 in, and how it shot after.

Great gun, I have the same.  I took it to a 1000 yard shoot this past summer and posted a 10" group with a field grade 3-9x Nikon.

I wouldn't cut it, it's a nice hammer forged barrel and that would be a shame.
