Prohunter question

well this may be a dumb question but, does the encore prohunter need it's own barrels or can it use the plain encore barrels? Thanks in advance for any help.

Will use any barrels designed on the Encore platform, ie. original Encore, Prohunter and Endeavor. I noticed in your sig that you're a .308 guy. I have a .308 barrel for my Encore on order and should receive it on Friday. Looking forward to seeing what it will do.

I haven't killed a deer with a .308 encore barrel but the 150-165 sst does an amazing job on whitetail and small hogs and shoots great out of my bolt action.
