Beautiful gun there!  When I lived in Flint, I had a friend that had one of those while I had the all blue old model.  Always wanted a brass framed one so I tried one of the aftermarket frames.  It looked good but was a little oversize in the grip.  I couldn't find any grips big enough to fully cover the frame.  It was a 'little thing' but something that really bothered me, so I sold it.  Could have polished it down, but that would have been a huge job as it was proud on all three sides.  Your gun is beautiful!  44 Man

That's a beauty!  When Ruger quit making the brass frames some distributor bought them all and sold them (just the frames) for $5 each.  I bought 20(should have bought more) that was probably 30 yrs ago, they're all gone now.  They go for $100/150 maybe more now.

Figure more like $275-$300.   $350 if they have the trigger with them...  Even more if it is the grip frame and trigger set in the box..

I have fit several brass frames on Rugers.  it's not as bad as it looks, three to four hours labor.  I have a SBH brass frame that I need to finish.  This is the last brasser I did.
