Foxpro worth over 200.00 than a Preymaster?

I was looking at callers today and noticed the FoxPro is 399.00 and the Preymaster is 189.00. Does the Foxpro have over 200.00 worth of extra features. Don

There is a new Fox Pro out that is priced right at $199.95 that puts it on a more affordable budget.

I have used the non remote preymaster, Minaska Bandit, Western Rivers Predation, and currently the older foxpro 532B.  With the exception of the Minaska coon sounds (they rock by the way), I have had the most success with the Johnny Stewart sounds which are the sounds put on the Preymaster and other Hunter Specialties calling units. If I was to go out right now and buy a remote caller, it would be the Preymaster PM4 remote unit hands down.  It is well priced, has good range, is dependable (they got the bugs worked out from the earlier models),  and the sounds are hard to beat.

I will second the Johny Stewart models. I feel they are the best value and have had the most succes with them also. Im sure others are also reliable but I will stick with what works for me and is priced reasonable.

I've never tried a FoxPro, but hear they are great.  I have a Johnny Stewart PM4 that I bought in September. It has worked great for me.  I usually set it out before daylight when I'm deer hunting and use the remote to turn it on after I'm done hunting for the morning. Have also used it a few times in the afternoons. I've killed 6 coyotes so far with it and called in numerous others and a couple of bobcats. I've had so much fun with it that I bought a Mojo critter to use as well. Both have worked great. I don't know if I see any more coyotes with the Mojo critter, but they do seem to stop longer and give me more time to shoot. Two thumbs up for both.  I've heard that rechargable batteries won't fit in the PM4-  I bought some lithium disposable AA's and have at leat 12 hrs on the current set. I use rechargables in the MOJO critter. I've had my best luck with the rabbit distress and whitetail fawn distress sounds.   I found my PM4 for $156 online a few months ago with free shipping.

Hi,over the last 35 years I have tried just about all of them. I have the J.S. PM3 and the FoxPro FX3. In one word yes the FoxPro is worth the money.

I've been looking at these myself, simply because I'm on a tight budget.  I do have a future goal of a Fox Pro, but that is in the distant future and I need something that is much more affordable NOW!
