Most folks wouldn't know a Mauser 2000 from their elbow, if you gave them a buttstroke with it.
I had one briefly in the early 80's, in .30-06, and would say your best bet would be to measure the rifle for, and order/install an aftermarket front sight/ramp from Williams Gun Sight Co.
If the front sight & ramp are entirely missing, but the rear sight remains, you can calculate the proper front sight height after measuring the barrel diameter beneath the rear sight, then adding half of the diameter to the height of the rear sight notch above the barrel.
To get the front sight/ramp combined height, add the calculation you just made to half the muzzle OD.
That front height can be split proportionally between a ramp and the sight blade, the exact ration/sizes being both a matter of personal taste, what looks good, and what's commercially avaiable.
After you do the calculations, speak to a Williams Cust Service Tech.
