transfer bar missing??

i have a model 88 H&R topper and it will not fire. well after much research i found that it is missing the transfer bar. where and how can i fix this?

Two options that I know of, while I don't have an M88, the current lifter and striker(transfer bar) may work. Check with Numrich and see if they have a used one, Brownell's sells new parts. The other option is to replace the hammer with an older non-transfer bar mode, Numrich carries those, you'll likely have to change the spring too, I've made the swap on a couple modern frames.
