Something you might try, Is to "custom mortify" a holster for your needs. I think if you shop around the gunshops in your area, you will find a used cordura holster to fit your Encore. Depending on barrel length, one sized for large-frame double-action revolvers usually works pretty well. If it is too short for your barrel, just cut it off, and let the barrel hang out. If you use a 'scope, you will have to cut a slot out of the topstrap, to clear the 'scope & mount. I have two holsters done this way, and, though they ain't purty, they work fine. Beings you're left-handed, finding a used holster may be a little more difficult, but they should be cheaper, when you find one. With little invested in a holster, it doesn't hurt too much to cut them up. It also gives you a chance to do a little experimenting, and see what suits you, before buying a more expensive rig.>>>>>>Bug.
