First Deer with K31 Swiss
« on: October 27, 2009, 04:30:52 PM »
I did a trade on this board for a k31 a few months back.  It has quickly become one of my favorites.  Thanks Swissfan for such a good rifle.  I thought the deer was a doe as it was getting a little dark and I had some doe tags to fill.  The horns were a surprise.  My neices and nephew had a ball that day.  I took all of them with me.  They played UNO and took turns watching with the binos.  We hunted out of a blind.   He blew at us once then circled back and came back out right in front of his scrape.  The shot was about 120 yards using Privi Partisan. I hit him right behind the front shoulder and he ran about 10 yards.
