stew recipe

stew-great with rabbit, caribou, venison or anything else you'd like.

1-2 pounds of meat (as meaty or not as you like) original recipe called for 1-rabbit
6-beef bouillon cubes (use chicken for rabbit)
3-medium peeled potatoes cut in pieces
1-large onion chopped
4-5 sliced carrots
3-4 chopped celery stalks
1/2 tsp pepper
1-can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 tbsp corn starch

Put meat and bouillon cubes in pan and cover with water.
Bring to a rolling boil, lower heat and simmer covered for 1 hr.
Scoop out foam and grease.
Add vegetables and pepper, simmer for 30 min.
Add or remove liquid so there is about 2 cups in the pan.
Combine soup and starch together in separate bowl and add to stew pot.
Stir while it is thickening and simmer until hot.

I cooked the vegetables longer, I cut them kind of big and they were not done yet.

This is a really good recipe with any kind of meat you like.
