I have never had a bicycle that would stand up to that kind of abuse.

My little brother used to compete with a bike like that. They can do some awsome things. Cool video.

Very cool I just bought a new Trek Allant.  I wish bicycles were as popular here as they are in Europe.

Video was awesome. If he stays healthy we'll probably see him win that division of the X Games if he has a notion to enter.

Good video, thanks for posting it.

This guy is a pro, Sky knows of him.  Sky has been doing this stuff since he was 13.  No he's not that good, but he can do a lot of the same things this guy is doing.  Every time I see him riding around on the front tire, with the rear tire up in the air sends chills through me.  A couple of the big trees in my front yard have tire tracks going up six to seven feet.  Every summer Sky and Eric turned my front yard into an obstical course.  Not of things to jump, but to climb bikes over slowly.  My 4ft saw horses were screwed down too a sheet of plywood so they would not move then used.  Michelle would panic when she drove into the drive and there was Sky with his bike standing on the front wheel sideways on a saw horse, and jumping up and down the length of the saw horse.  Then down to the ground.  Sky has five different 20" bikes, each has a special purpose.

When they graduated High School, Eric went to work at the Gold Mine, and Sky started going to UAF, so he did not have time for this anymore.  I bought a new Mt Bike this last spring, it's a Mongoose with suspension.  After riding it a few times it bothered my back so I hung it in the shed and left it there.  I told Sky if he wanted to use it to go ahead.  I came back from a three day trip and there was my new bike, on the deck, totally reconfigured to fit a shorter person.  I'm 6'3"  Sky is 5'6".  And the suspension had been cranked up to the max.  A group of guys at UAF went Mt Biking and had invited Sky, so he had taken my bike.  Seems he had given the college guys lessons on how to go up rock faces sideways on a bike.  Places you could not ride forward, and they usually hoisted the bike up on their backs to climb.  During the course of the summer they made all the major trails in the area.  Now he is back to doing those crazy things again on a bike.  Only instead of using a 20" bike he is now using a 26" Mt Bike.

I still cring.

Sky says this guy is good.  But Sky also says how many times did he have to do those stunts before he got it just right.  The perfect one are the ones making it to the tape.

I remember doing something similar to this in '78 or '79 on my 1966 Shovelhead.(Harley) It was right after I left the bar, and I had a 12pk of Bud and a few shots of Ouzo under my belt. At least that what I think I did. gypsyman

I don't care how many times he had to try it. Just the fact that he can do it is amazing.
