lubing help
« on: October 31, 2009, 10:11:11 PM »
Have a lyman 450, and RCBS sizer's. While trying to size, lub and put gas  checks on am getting a bunch of lube (gob) stuck to the gas check every couple of boolets.  Have tried setting my boolets to diffrent depths in both sizers and still got the prob.  Seems one upon a time there was a thread about how to cure that prob, but me and my putter arnt smart enough to find it.  This only happens on my 250 gr cast I shoot. Any help.?

Don't put so much pressure on your lube....At least that's what worked for me and my RCBS lubrisizer....

you are putting to much pressure on the lube like Tom W said back off a lot on the pressure and only increase the pressure 1/4 turn for every 25 bullets that what I had to do with mine in 38 cal my 45acp's it was 1/2 turn per 25 bullets might be different with you with the kind of lube you use D Crockett
