My oldest granddaughter is bound she is going to kill a deer younger than her uncle did, he got his a 12, and she is 10 now. This is her 2 nd. year hunting with a crossbow and is really into it. I`ve been letting her and her younger sisters shot a .22 and a pellet rifle when they come over and even had the 10 year old shooting a .410, so I think I`ll have her useing a gun this year if she don`t get one with her crossbow. Between her dad and myself I think she stands a good chance of getting a deer this year and if not next and that will still meet her goal. She even has the neighbor boy shooting and there is some compation there, I love it.
