A flag is a symbol of something, you either love it or hate it. One of the proudest days of my life was in 1982 and I stood in front of the American flag and took an oath to support, uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foriegn and domestic.
I was a wide eyed gung-ho, high speed, low drag, brand spanking new second lieutenant in the army and I wanted to kick butt and take names.
Since that time I've seen and lived several lifetimes and just like others here I have no use for either political party.
When Al Gore was a congressman he was rated "A" by the NRA for pro-gun legislation. We saw what happened when he ran for president. He didn't carry his own state.
I supported Ronald Regan and voted for him twice, but he was on record as supoorting the so called "Assault Weapons Ban" in his home state of California.
This post dealing with our flag is a real representation of what politicians want to do to us as a nation. They want to destroy us as a people as country and as culture.
You might be shocked to see this done to an American flag, but for Americans like me in the South we've seen our flags and our culture spit and defecated on for two decades now. First they came after everything Southern, and they've done their best and used cultural genocide to destroy us.
Now they're coming after the rest ofthe United States.
All politicians are to be blamed and none trusted.
