I've hunted for 8 days straight, and the only thing I have seen is a couple of 6 pointers. Yes I have already filled my buck tag, but I am filling the freezer now with doe's. Has anyone else been seeing anything I sure haven't.

I have been real lazy since I got my buck and have not even been out, but that is going to change real soon. I need to sight in my other Encore 50 cal. I always seem to draw a few deer when I go target shooting. They seem to know when it is not rifle season and stand around and watch me shoot. I do hope your luck changes soon.

Was out this evening doing some scouting.Rut is on.Saw a ginormous eight point locked down with a doe in a cut bean field. He ran off two other eights and kicked the snot out of a much smaller six point.Just rammed him in the side.Bowled him over. They were in a field about 1/2 mile from my house.I was coming back from a late job and went"sight" seeing.Watched them until it was too dark to see thru the binocs.Glad to see them this close to home.May be the big buck from my neighbors behind me.Going to go over and check my two hunting spots this week end.Hope to get some pics????Good luck guys.Slow

This guy walked under my stand on the first morning of my Kansas hunt. Weather turned warm after that but I didn't really care at that point.
