New guy needs advice on new Ultra
« on: November 07, 2009, 02:09:46 PM »
Hi there. I’m currently looking at a new .223 ultra at a local gun shop and would like to have some input prior to purchase.  The price is $259 plus tax, recently marked down from $295.  It has a 22” barrel and is equipped with an ejector, I think, because it snaps out and I could not push it in. If that's the correct way of testing it. ??? I would rather have one with an extractor but the price seems pretty good especially when compared with other shops in my area. I don’t think I can find a better deal on line considering shipping and FFL transfer fees.  What y’all think?

Yup, I’m pretty convinced she will belong to me in the morning.  Just sold an old mil-surp rifle to help pay for it.  ;D
