Hey y'all. Its been a while since I've stopped by to say "hi"
. I'm not about to say bad about anybody, but when my last boss told me that he didn't want me to shoot an elk, well, that was a deal breaker and I left the ranch. I am now riding out the winter in Arizona, because there isn't much construction work in Montana in the winter. I miss checking the wintering herds, but I should be back in time for the snow retreating and wobbly leg elk calves.
So I have a friend down here that is helping me to start reloading. He's a retired engineer from General Dynamics and a good guy. Anyways he is looking for some elk antler. He doesnt need a whole antler, just a crown/base part of the antler to use on a black powder rifle he is building. If anybody has such a thing, I am sure he is willing to pay for shipping plus a few gratuitous bucks.
Have any dates been decided for the prairie dog shoot?
