t/c gorilla rings and bases

 t/c gorilla rings and bases anyone using them, how do you like them?

I bought a T/C scope kit to use with a G2 .50 cal muzzleloader I have (Scope doesn't have nearly enough eye relief with the little gun with the recoil it has) And it had a set of gorilla rings and bases with it and my dad had bought a omega and needed a set of rings and bases so we installed them on the omega. My opionion for what it is worth is they aren't very good at all. Not much adjustment of the scope and not very pleasing to look at. I would invest in a good set of rings I prefer Warne or T/C Maxima (same thing) and the matching base. My father still is using the Gorilla rings and base, But he is not very picky about such things.

are these rings for muzzle loader only, I want to use them with a ziess scope on a 7mm mag.

The gorilla grip rings will work on the rifle barrels and also on the muzzleloader barrels. I would opt for a better set of rings and base than the Gorilla grip. Of course Its your money and your gun so if the gorilla is what you want I hope you have good luck with them.

I have a set on my Triump, picked them up at walley world on a closeout for 5.00. I have had no problems with them and they have stayed put from year to year, of course they dont look as good as some of the higher priced sets but they have served me just fine.I do have a number of very expensive set. Although they are intended for muzzleloaders, they will fit the rifle and pistol barrels as has been stated. but I would not wont to use them on a high powered rifle
