Magna-port Custom .44 SBH?
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:54:23 PM »
Anybody know a ballpark value on a Magna-port Custom Super Blackhawk?  I've been offered one in trade and not sure what the value is...
thanks in advance.

Yep...just sold mine for about $899.  Had it built years ago for under $600 inc the cost of a used SBH in 44mag.  It was a SBH, Predator pkg, ss magnalife finish.  They have all the bells and whistles.  They cost about $700 plus your gun to build today.  Well worth the money, but, I had others so I sold that one.

I also had a stalker, the 8 3/8" sbh with the TSOB scope mounts, 2x leupold pistol scope, swivel studs, etc, etc.  That one is worth about $1,100 or so.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Dr. Doug!  That puts me in the ballpark...so to speak. I'm a Blackhawk junkie anyway, so if this fellow wants to trade, I'll probably jump on it.  He says his is a 5-6" (which tells me he hasn't played with it recently!) fluted barrel, has, I think, the vapor hone finish.  We'll see what transpires....
thanks again.

This was purchased as you see it in the aluminum case and Burris scope for less than $500 OTD

Whaohhhhhh....Hair...that's a deal.  I think I paid 600 - 700 to have it built by Mag-Na-Port in the 1990's.  It was a cool looking gun, but, I never could shoot a scoped revolver worth a d***n and found it to be clumsy.

I'd give him $510 plus a good  pocketknife!

I have a Holosite that is going to replace the scope soon. That Burris 2-7X will fit just fine on one of my XP-100's
