Tell that one to Obama!

I'm sure he will believe it after getting slapped in the face big time! ;D

Actually the American voter is mad at the Democratic crooks, so they voted in the Republican crooks. Next election they will be mad at the Republican crooks, and will vote back in the Democratic crooks. Watching American voters is very much like watching a ping-pong match.

GB, you might have missed the beginning of the end of Dumbycrat rule, or you might have missed nothing at all.  Time and circumstances will tell the tale.  I suspect that Dee might have offered what is more likely the sad truth.

Actually, I think even in Alabama you get the same news the rest of us get.  And don't take that as a slap at Alabama.  Would that we all had some sanctuary from what passes for news.

Of course people's pocket books are hurting in the USA. Now, where do you think the help is going to come from?

I actually did watch the 10:00 news last night I think and for sure did the night before. I saw nothing on it about elections so have to assume that here in Bama we had none.

GB,

Since no one will directly answer your question, ;) here's what I found so far:

The Commonwealth of Virginia had a Governor's race. New Jersey had a Governor's race and in New York, the races for Mayor and 23rd District US Congressman were decided. There are probably more.

I'm like GB........My brother called me on the land line and asked what I thought about the election, and I told him I didn't care if Obama or McCain won. He said, I'm talkin about the Gov of NY and some other damn election in Va, and I told him I could care less about NY or Va.

I don't get my news (spin) on the tube anymore and I'm a few hr's late getting it on the WWW. I can't stand to watch the three big networks or Rupert Murdock's either.

don't get excited. nothing happened, but that we got Socialism Lite, and not socialism itself.

these republicans will trade votes and deals with socialists and we will get the same crap, different container.

both parties are dead.

we need a clean sweep.

Here is just an example of how some people vote.

In a local election for mayor here in western Pa. in a small town called Turentum. There were two candidates running. Both candidates died in September, and they were still on the ballot. So what did people do? They voted for them. The article didn't say how many votes they got, but one of them actually won the election.
This is an example of how mindless some people are when they go to vote. Some people don't have a clue of who or what they are voting for.
Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.    Wm. Penn

Here's my brief commentary on the elections. Obama got a slap in the chops and is acting like he dont care. pelosi thinks she won, and the 23 rd district would have had a conservative congressman had the Republican party not sabatouged him by giving the "moderate"(which means liberal") 900 million bucka to back the democrat. She backed out cause she was gonna get her clock cleaned, by the way she was still on the ballot and got 5 % of the vote. Oddly enough the conservative lost by 5 %. Go figger!

That did not end up brief but its my commentary!

OMG !!

Even this Canadian was watching the election while sunning his buns in Florida!!

Kudos to the voters in VA and NJ. Despite what the WH spin is on that. Those results hurt, especially the one in NJ.
