Haven't bought the 97 yet been hit with to many tax bills but one place I buy from had two Fobus Roto Holsters So I bought one to have when I get the gun. Has anyone tried this holster? If so how do you like it?? The one I have I can carry on my right side or cross draw from my left or behind my back. Are these new style holsters or they just come out?? The one I have is for Ruger Mod. 90 93 94 95 97 .

I didn't care for it in it's original configuration, so altered it to suit. The thing stuck out too far, and was "reluctant" to release the gun. So. I removed the "roto" part, did some "precision" grinding w/ my trusty Dremel so I could get the belt through the remaining loops (which I had to heat and bend to get the belt through) and for $20 ended up w/ a superb little holster that conceals well, releases smoothly and I'm real happy with. Can't ask for more than that, IMHO.

I've had the Rotoholster for my 1911s for a little over a year. I don't care for the belt slide mount, but I really like the paddle. I usually wear it as a cross-draw. I carry a Springfield Longslide .45 super, Colt .45 model 70, Kimber Compact, and a Colt Commander 9mm in it (at different times, of course!!!! )
