Not the Legend but have the Elite 3200. They are basically same but not quite. It was a nice scope and served me well. I kinda wish I'd held onto it but decided I wanted a wee bit more power so bought the Elite 3200 7-21 to replace it. WOW what a difference. I love that 7-21 and have bought another since the original one.

If ya can stand the extra cost get the Elite 3200 7-21, you won't regret it I promise.

Thanks Bill, I have a Legend 3x9x50 on a contender carbine and I like it better than my Nikon Buckmasters and Prostaffs...alot clearer and brighter...

I have a couple of legends.   They have a little better light gathering ablity than the 3200 Elete but do not have rain gaurd.  I really like mine.  One is on a 22 which is the 3 X 9 The other is on a 243 and it is the 5 X 15.

Interesting statement about the better light-gathering of the Legend. I've been wondering if maybe the Rainguard coating detracts from that a little; just a theory. Took both my 7-21 Elite and a 6-18 Nikon Buckmaster out the other evening at dusk and the Nikon was brighter and more detailed. The 5-15X Elites I've looked through were pretty nice and seemed like a good choice in that $ range; fully multi-coated, too.
