Aftermarket stocks for a 500 Slugster 20ga.???
« on: October 26, 2009, 02:43:28 PM »
All the stocks I've found for the 500 say 12ga. and won't fit the 20.  The stock on the gun has a long grip before it turns down into the pistol grip and I have short fingers, so this defeats the purpose of me buying it for a fast action woods gun.  It shoots great with the new Win. Supreme Elite Dual Bond slugs and I'd like to hang on to it but the stock is cumbersome at best.  I thought about getting a bantam stock and then trying to find a big slip on recoil pad to get the stock length back.  What's your guys take on this?

thanks,
Ken

Are you sure the 20 and 12 buttstock is not the same?
