$50 per gun

 I have been hearing rumors (I hope they are rumors) that in 2010 we will have to list all our guns on our income tax return and pay a $50 tax on each one of them. Anyone else been hearing something like this?

False report.  Although, it has been mentioned it hasn't gotten off the ground as of yet.   There have been several posts concerning this on GB from what I understand.

yep false report.. if they did that id be tickled as ive sure ruined a couple in my efforts to avoid high repair cost.. ;D :(.. aint nothing like a shade4 tree smith who is trying to come out cheap..
 on the flip ive had a few successes..

I'm glad to hear it is a false report. I really didn't think it was true but you never know these days. I thought it might have been discussed on here before but I couldn't find it. Thanks for your replies.
