32-20 Handi range report, sort of.....
« on: November 06, 2009, 01:50:26 PM »
I traded Larry out this barrel a few months ago with some shotgun barrels and I am finally home for awhile and had an opportunity to shoot it today.  I have a cheap 3x-9x Simmons truck gun kinda scope on it and rested it of a cardboard box on the deck rail.  With cowboy lead bullet loads, it shoots cloverleaf after cloverleaf at 30 yards.  I am going to try and shoot a turkey with it tomorrow here in Oklahoma.  I really like this barrel as it is similar to the old 158's and carries like a gun should... with balance and no extra weight.

I have the first 32-20 that Larry made and it's a shooter too. I put it on a shotgun frame with a set of synthetics and it is LIGHT!! (about 5 pounds with 4x scope). I love it and wouldn't part with it. ;D
