1) forget the .25 breech plug, get a different breedh plug modification

2) Thumbhole stock

3) optional - cut barrel to 20"-22"

Where can the thumbhole stock be found????  Also, why would anyone want to cut a perfectly good barrel??

T hole stocks from NEF or Boyds,
It only takes about 18-20" of barrel to burn a typ 100 grain load of powder,
the last 6" of the 26" sidekick barrel is just hanging out there, getting in the way.
I cut mine to 20" makes a perfect balanced gun.

Slackdaddy,

Don't you know bubba has been busier than a one legged man in a "butt kickin' contest", moderating the "Modified Breech Plug" out of posts? ;) ;D  I guess we can't talk about the best thing that ever happened to the Huntsman/Sidekick anymore. ::) Check through the last several topics, you'll see what I mean.

We can talk about the "Hubbard Ramrod", "Boyd's Stocks", "Choate Stocks", ".25 ACP Plug", and other custom parts all we want to so far, but I really don't see any difference in that and the "Modified Breech Plug".

My 2 cents!

Hope I saved you a little editing bubba?

maybe I missed something, I stated I'm buying the .25 acp breech plug (no questions), I'm getting a Hubbard's ramrod (no questions), I did ask where I could get a thumbhole stock and Slackdaddy filled me in (thanks Slackdaddy), I read thru the stickys so I guess there are no more mods yall recomend unless missed one.  So if the previous post about read stickys and dragging out previous post are directed at me, maybe eveyone should re-read my oringnal post and adjust your comments accordingly.  If they aren't directed at me then please desreguard, I'm just a butthead who had a bad day at work.  Thanks Kris
