6mm-300WSM
« on: August 22, 2012, 04:11:53 AM »
In mu never ending quest to do something stupid I bought a reamer for the 6-300 WSM. I have 96 lbs. powder that shoule be an excellant choice for this round and just could not past up the reamer. So, does anyone have any data on this round? If not I`ll just wing it. I have 2 6-284`s but neather of them will shoot the 105 or 107 gr. bullets well and I prefer to shoot the heavy bullets for long range.

I also shoot a 6/284 and know my bbl might not make it to 1200 rnds. that being said I bet your bbl won't make it to 120 rnds.

I know what your talking about, but the only reason I don`t have it on a gun now is that I going to have it Nitraided before I start shooting it. I also have another 6-284 ready to be Nitrided. From what I`ve been able to find that should more than double barrel life,  ::)  I`m going to find out.

CATFISH - I predict a 6MM-300WSM barrel will burn out before you use up the 96 ponds of powder. Sounds like a good long range coyote gun! - DON
