T\C white mountain carbine trigger loose ?

I p\u a t\c carbine and when you cock the hammer the trigger is loose and rattles you can move it a little.I took the lock and trigger out but it looks ok,is there a spring in the trigger thats maybe missing...Help me out...ED

They were made that way. If you push it forward it will spring back because there is a spring in there; if it doesn't then the spring is missing. There will also be some side to side play in it. It's not a problem and won't affect how it shoots. Probably 1/20 twist too; shoot heavy conicals or sabots for best results.

Recurver,
I just checked mine. The triger is a tiny bit loose side by side when you cock the hammer, there is a long take up bringing the trigger back to the stop before fully compressing it to relase the hammer, but it does not rattle.
