Just brought home a Browning B92 .357 mag that I got from an internet auction. As I was checking out the rifle, I noticed that when I operated the action and cocked the hammer, that the firing pin seemed to be flush with the bolt. I tried it again, and this time it sticks out like it seems it should. So then i tried tilting the gun forward and backward and lo and behold, the firing pin is sliding in and out.
Soooo, my big question is: Is the Browning B92 supposed to have some sort of floating firing pin, or does it sound like I'm gonna have to replace some parts?
I thank you in advance for any answers I receive.
