i need some advice on the purchase of a sig .357 barrel and choice of ammo.
i can get a factory barrel for $220--good? bad?
Man. $220 is a ROTTEN quote! Got to
www.sportingarms.com and do a quote request. Tell them Brian Batey sent you. Tom and Becky will hook you up. They can also give you a good quote on ammo by the case.
Stay away from the 'cheap' stuff. Sellier and Bellot have had some problems. You're going to have to shoot quality stuff in the .357SIG. I do like the round, it's just rather new and expensive to shoot.
I have both the .40S&W barrels and the .357SIG barrels for my 239. Options are always nice to have. Mine was a .357SIG from the factory and I scored a .40 barrel on Ebay for $85, new in the bag.
Hope this helps,
