got to see Sarah Palin in person today
« on: November 29, 2009, 06:04:45 PM »
Sarah was doing a book signing in Richland Wa. today. I was not a early bird to get in line so did not get my book signed. But prior to signing she started at the back of the line and shook hands as she went to the front. So eventhough spent 3 hours in line and she stopped signing when I was only half way there. I didn't feel too bad as did get to shake her hand. Even seeing her only breifly she seemed to have that breath of fresh air regular person appeal.
Year and a half ago Bill Clinton was doing a talk at my nephew's graduation only a block and a half away. I didn't see him and wouldn't cross the street to see him or hiliary. Might cross the street to avoid him though.
Just thought I would share.
Thanks Don.

When Palin was in Pa. My nephew went and sat there for 19 hours so he could be first in line to meet her. He slept in a lawn chair. I guess he did get a little extra time to talk to her since he was first in line.

After reading her book you really get to know what kind of person she is, and yes she is a breath of fresh air compared to the so called public servants we have now.
