their messiah is the all powerful state, and they aren't sucking up, they're sacrificing to it actually (our futures and dreams, economic stability, gene pool, ... all of it)
obama is just the figure head, hate him if you want but the reason he's where he is, is that he is a proxy of all the puppeteers that have been in the game a long, long time. as long as he is too gutless to really push anything, we just have to listen to the crap that his czars spout- help us if they ever get there stuff together
an uncoordinated government is a beneign one, I hope it stays that way.
remember that the two party system isn't a law but a phenomena that consolidates power
the players only go away when they die, the parties and platforms don't much change (they just update their image/status to fool more people)
whigs and torries to present day, it's not often that anything really changes
