Hard to improve upon perfection...but...
« on: November 18, 2009, 02:18:59 PM »
Anyone have any custom work done on their Freedom Arms revolvers or FA mini guns?? If so, I am sure I am not alone in requesting (please, please) photos that you guys and gals may have. Any recommended gunsmiths?  Gunsmiths from H*** stories? Heaven sent gunsmiths? Inquiring minds want to know. Personally, I think a high polished stainless finish, custom grips (maybe stag), and maybe something radical like a custom barrel with integrated extractor tube and barrel ports or brake would be cool to see.

My experience has been there really isn't anything to improve upon with the exception of a nice set of custom grips.

Here are a few photos from doing a web search of some modified FA guns. Most are engraved. One has a high polished finish which is cool. I would love to see the factory offer the bright finish as well as the "Packer" model on the 97 frame offered with both fixed and adjustable sights. I may have to add references (credits) for each picture later. The picture with the muzzle blast is just plain cool!

I used to get gold stars from my mommy when I was a kid and didn't wet the bed. SOme kind of psychological conditioning I think. I am happy to say I no longer wet the bed :D
