Only 3 days from Kentucky to Alaska and I received my new huntin buddy. A SS rossi/ puma mdl. 92 in 454 casull. I shot it the next day after taking it home from the dealer and I am impressed. It shot about 1 inch to the left at 25 yards with my 45 colt handloads ( 300gr. LBT at 1300 in my 5.5 inch Redhawk). In a nice group of 45 cal. holes in the butt end of a log I was shooting at.
The magazine tube was a little hard to unscrew to load the tube, it did get better after a few times of loading though. I am going to ad a peep site if I can adapt it to the bolt, safety area.
Other wise a very nice rifle. I kick myself for waiting this long to buy one!!!
Looks like good bear medicine for this next spring.
