M85 Revolvers
« on: November 19, 2009, 11:13:16 AM »
current catalog lists these as mostly 2" brls, some with 3".  I was a the store and they had one that was listed as 2.5".  I noticed because I thought it may have been a 3" since it looked longer than I expected for a 2".  When did Taurus use the 2.5". This was on a DOA ultralight and there were no model numbers on the gun.

Im wanting to get one of these revolvers and am leaning to the M85 from the Ruger and SW lines now.

I have a taurus 2 inch in 357 mag (not that I have ever fired a mag in it).  I wanted a 38 spl but they did not have one at the store I was shopping at but did have the 357 so I bought it.  To tell the truth it is a nice gun and shoots well for the purpose I bought it for.  I got the stainless one and wanted it for CCW and as a tackle box gun when I go fishing.  Works for both options.

I had a SS and an Ultralite. Never any problems with either of them. Both of mine had the exposed hammer. Only reason I got rid of them was that someone gave me a Colt Cobra and I bought a S&W 642. I would buy another one.
