Maybe, dawg, you should consider this is the way he puts food on the table, shoes on the baby, pays the bills and keeps his family provided for? I can understand his point. Please before you judge, be calm and try to put yourself into this situation? If you live in a glass house go ahead and start the stone throwing.

Webster defines articulate as...."expressing oneself readily and effectively". I was struggling to understand the mans post....Not meaning to take food off the table, judging etc. etc. Take your own advice and stay calm.

That's why I don't buy Taurus guns  ;D

Sorry, I could not help it.

I had some similar situations with a Beretta shotgun.  They gave me a new shotgun as replacement and it also fail to operate too.  I went to the store I got it from in first place and traded in for a Benelli Montefeltro and I could not be happier.  I know my story does not have any thing to do with the Freedom Arms revolver but when you overlook medium to lower grade firearms to get a high quality one, you expect much better and long lasting equipment.
All mechanical devices will eventually fail; but the high quality devices "should" outlast any thing below its rank.
I feel your pain.  I hope you get a prompt solution to the problem.

I agree, but if you buy a gun used it is more probable that you will experience problems, especially if you do not know the past of the individual gun.

New or used FA should have fixed it correctly or told him it was unfixable! My .454 Raging Bull has fired a few hundred stout rounds and shoots like new. Sorry, I could not help it.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

I agree that they should have fixed it the first time and the OP has a legitimate gripe about sending the gun in a second time.  I am sure that FA will fix it and attempt to make him happy, but in the OPs original post he was just pissed it cost him to fix a used gun and his gun was expensive to ship the first time.  I just don't see how that is FA's fault.

Have three F.A. 97's and never had a problem. Ordering parts or accessories and getting info has always been efficient and quick. I think their service is great in all respects. They make a very high quality item that produces very few problems, When one does occur they fix it quickly. The poster needs to get a life. I don't believe all the various details and problems he describes. Sounds like a F.A. Basher to me!!! I am awaiting his continues story after the 3rd fix. It will never stop!

How often do you shoot these guns and are they heavily used?

Actually no Not an FA basher at all and you dont know me my history or my shooting background there superhero I have a broken gun sitting here, I Know the original owner i have the gun that skips cylinders in my hand after spending time on the phone with bob.  the gun was supossed to be fixed the first time  it hasnt been  oh well it will be this time im sure. as bob stated it really needs to be gone over and yes it will stop once its fixed.

if you care to call or contact me mouth, I would be more than happy to give you some factual background and magazine articles and certificates  and my experiances with many others dont hide behind your puter tough guy Im right here and willing to provide all info as i stated before and told bob, SO open your ears, and listen I love the gun  I want it fixed and fixed right so i can keep going on liking it.... so shut your hole and wait and see.

because you havent had an issue with yours doesnt mean it doesnt exsist. or others havent
because you have ordered parts means what. Nothing.

go (censored word) yourself

FedEx will ship a handgun overnight for $50.00.  USPS won't ship handguns.  I can't get UPS to ship a gun period even a muzzleloader.

Deputy,

The problem you are having with your FA revolver is the same problem I have had with two different Ruger Vaqueros, on was shot less than 50 rounds of .45 colt, its something that is not a brand specific problem but an individual gun problem.  You should give FA a chance to fix the problem, I am sure they will, but I don't see how they are responsible for the shipping costs or repair costs when the gun was initially sent off for repair.
