Benelli barrell, want to shorten & tube

Anyone know a good place to get a factory M1-90 20 gague barrell cut and rethreaded for the choke tubes?

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to buy a new barrel?

dukkillr, Binelli barrels are really expensive and hard to find. No I don't believe it would be cheeper.

I believe most of the choke tube companies such as Briley, Hastings, etc do this kind of work.  Some local smiths are set up for it too, but unless you know the quality of their work going that route could be hit or miss (pun intended)!

Stuart, Who is Michael Orlen?

I found the Briley web-site and from their price list it looks like about $200.00 to do what I want. Thats about half what a new barrell would cost if you could even find one the length I want. I've been looking for a while for a benelli 20ga barrell about 19-21" with the choke tubes and don't think they make them.

Stewart, he didn't answer my e-mail so I called him today. He seams like a real nice guy. I can get what I want done for $85.00. Mailed the barrel to him today.

I got my barrell back from Mike Orlen today. He did a great job but adds new meaning to the word slow. I shipped it to him the middle of august.    Shot it today and it's just what I wanted anyway so I'm happy.
