Drilling Man, what's that bored at? Never saw a scope mounted like that.
Those are two different scopes aren't they? What's that rig weigh?
I always wanted a double rifle. Wonder if Larry would weld me a couple Handis together. Nice gun
What projectile hit the deer?
The shot bbls are 16ga... The bottom bbl is 8mm cal., and it's chambered for 8x57jrs, that weighs in just under 7 pounds empty... I handload 200 Nosler Partitions to 2,550fps (about 30-06 level of performance) and i have been using this same load for over 25 years now, as it's VERY accurate and gives good penetration on big game, buy still expands some on smaller animals, even at longer ranges,
Yes i have two scopes for it, and the whole thing breaks down to a small package,
The scopes are mounted in claw mounts, and snap on or off in about 3 seconds, and ALWAYS go back to being perfectly sighted in.
I also have two slide in rimfire bbls for the right shot bbl, and they also go in and out easily and alway go back to zero. They shoot about as good as a decent bolt action 22 rifle,
And that allows me to beable to use my "go to gun" on everything from moose and bear,
To deer,
Small game and preditor control,
turkeys,
or what ever else i decide to hunt, or happen onto...
