Interview with Ted Nugent
« on: December 03, 2009, 09:32:52 AM »
I received this in an e-mail this morning:

Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist, an animal rights activist. The discussion came around to deer hunting.

The journalist asked, 'What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it, 'Are you the one who killed my brother?'

Nugent replied, 'Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, what am I going to eat next, who am I going to #$&%^ next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French.'

The interview ended.

Did he kill the deer with that shot?  What's unethical about killing a deer with a handgun?  NOTHING...

I have met Ted a couple of times and although he is right up there defending our privileges to hunt, there have more times then not when he has done it in ways that could be considered " STUPID".

The unfortunate thing is that he has a perfect chance to help hunters and shooters immensely and goes about it like a self centered arrogant jerk.

I know there will be a lot of people who will disagree, and that is fine, but, often the celebrities that can help us the most, help to turn some people away.
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.

sorry yes ten millimeter even with that did you not see him blazing away at the fallow deer at the end of the show and i agree with his money and influence he could really do alot of good instead of giving the antis fuel for the fire

I didn't see the show.  I have to agree, shooting a deer on video 7 times with a hand gun to kill it should not have been aired.
