Walkers Game Ear?

Haven't used that one, I have the old style Action Ear.  My wife bought it for me 15 years ago still works.  As far as cutting off the noise YES, System shuts down at 110 decibels.  I understand the newer models cut off sooner.  The one I have is not the kind you wear while walking through the woods, too cumbersome.  But it sure is nice on a tree stand, or sitting in a blind.  Also nice when you shoot, the noise is shut off.  If you shoot a gun with a muzzle brake you either need something like this or wear earplugs.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
