Out the past two days for bout 4 hours each middle of the day. First day no yotes, second was really different. First stand called one in to about 50 yards, one round to the neck was an instant stop, used a stuffed floppy ear rabbit that I let my dogs play with outside for one day so it was dirty and missing an eye. i'm not sure but maybe the dog scent helped, but she came in slow, and when she was about 80 yds out she got a visual lock so I yelled and she stopped and that was that. Third stand two does came in, passed me within 40 yards and I thought it was over but a few minutes went buy and the does ran back towards the call that had the rabbit on it and almost there they spooked. About three minutes later a large female came in from left to right at a trot and went right at the call and one round directly in the tailpipe caused her to go down and take about two breaths and that was that. I really beleive the stuffed animal does the trick. I want to try out my handi 270 but recoil is to much to see impact like my AR does, I just ordered a Ultra Hunter in 223 so I can use the small ammo my AR does. Good luck!
