Are the Winchester 94's still made in the USA

I noticed that some guys are stating that the 1892 model was made in Japan. Is the 1894 30-30 still made here? Is the receiver cast or forged now? I believe that Marlins are all forged parts does Winchester still forge their parts? I am seriouly looking at the Winchester Legacy 30-30 though there tough to locate them. Everyone seems to be waiting or they are backordered.

As far as I know, the 1892 is made in Japan and the 1894 is made in the USA.  Receiver is probably forged, but of what I don't know.  It's awful soft.

One of the changes Winchester made to the '94 in '64 was to make the reciever of cast ductile iron.  That was cheaper while allegedly stronger, but it wouldn't take a blue/black finish.  They had to plate it with something that would.  That's why you see so many of them with flaky, mottled finishes now.  I can't say what they're doing now-a-days.
