« on: October 16, 2003, 03:23:37 PM »
Well I have come across a set of dies in this caliber, and was wondering if their was anybody doing anything with this caliber in the last few years, I cant recall the last time I heard talk of it, and cant recall weather it was as good as the published data, any info good or bad I can handle it, if good I may look into doing something with them. :D    JIM

Here is a link to a site that talks about it with a little data.
I don't agree with some of there data but they are being very safe with their loads. (nothing wrong with being safe)

I have a Great Uncle who does quite a bit of BR 50 shooting with his 22-284 and he loves the 6MM-284 for shooting deer.
As for their data shown on the web site you can almost add 200FPS to all their loads but not with the same powder (I don't think???)

If you really are going to go with the 6MM-284 I can get all the in's and out's of what powder and so on to use or at least get started.
