Thank heaven for global warming (sort of)
« on: December 04, 2009, 04:08:23 AM »
All this foofooraw about global warming is doing something I'm benefitting from: My next car may be a really nice SUV. The prices have dropped dramatically and it is easy to find nice ones at really outstanding prices for used ones. Since I consider the total cost of ownership, not just fuel costs, there may be another SUV in my future after all. Shucks, if the SUV gets 20mpg and the more efficient car gets 25mpg, there's not much difference in the total cost of ownership over 10 years.

Boy, I sure hope that global warming is not all bunk.  I've always known that the political aspects of global warming is crap, but the warming itself would be great if only it were true.  For all those who like cooling--try Alaska.

Global warming, yeah, right. It was minus 2 degrees last night in Central Wyoming. We usually don't get below zero before February.
