Ever got to handle old guns of special interest? (Famous owned guns)
Any pictures of them?
I don't have many but 4 come to mind,
1) Colt Single Action Army that had its holster from an outlaw that shot a Governer from Utah, It also had a book about the shooting and killer. The gun was sold to a customer in Southern Minnesota.
2) A Winchester lever rifle (sorry I cant remember the model) that had a factory letter that said that the rifle was OFW's and was sent up to his house.
3) a nice Henry rifle with serial number 707 that I sold to a customer in Wisconsin. No historic owner known but it was a menorable rifle that I was able to sell.
4) Springfield Trapdoor Officers Model in .45-70, not many were made and less have survived the years, I was fortunate to be able to see and handel it and was going to take it on a buffalo hunt but the front sight came loose and I did not want to risk losing it or risk damaging it on the hunt so I did not take it with.
