rem 7400 deer
« on: December 20, 2009, 08:10:15 PM »
Hey all, I used a friends 7400 .243 on an improptu deer hunt.  I hit him trotting at 130 yds for a double lung pass through and the again in a dead run at 150 yds.  Both shots behid the shoulder within 3 inches of each other.  Anyway, I loved the gun.  Are they still made?  What do they go for approximately?

There's a used but very clean one at gunbroker.com for $375.00. Those Remington semi-autos are extremely popular here in the east. I'm not up on the various Model # changes that Remington made but I'm certain that this bread and butter gun is still in the Remington product line.
