Last knife

My grand daughter asked me to make her a knife. She reminded me black and turquoise are two of her favorite colors. I managed to get this under the Christmas tree for her. The blade is 1095 and 4 1/4" long. Handle is ebony with a turquoise nugget inlaid on each side. It's nothing fancy but it feels good in the hand. I doubt she will ever use it.

She may never use it, but I bet it's destined to become a family heirloom!  Beautiful and functional knife, and an even better treasure for a grand child.

Mighty fine lookin knife and a very useful size even if she doesn't decide to use it. I'd take a plain knife like that over a fancy one any day.
