Here is a nice collection of "Strongs" I found for sale.  Prices are pretty high.

Thanks for posting it.  Not sure all are real.

Certainly this "Galbraith" L.T. gun they offer is not original; I hope no one tries to fire it using original loads or orig proj wt of 17 lbs..

Their prices may be high, but the one they were selling for $50,000.00 is gone now.
Cannonmn, how do you know that gun is not original?

It seems to me that someone like me could really get ripped off if these are not real.  Not like I could spend that kind of money.  I thought this was a reputable company.  It seems they are representing these as originals.

I have original Galbraith guns in both bronze and steel.  There are more differences than I have time to list between either of them and that one.  The Galbraith in bronze has been faked for about 25 years in Taiwan, and the little wheels are the first big giveaway, then look down the bore, very crude and rough, never intended for shootiing, plus the "bronze" one is made of the cheapest brass they can find. It is also too light.  I can guarantee that one pictured "ain't raht."  It appears to be made of ferrous metal.  Notice the recent grinding/buffing marks, and lack of patina on the bare metal.  Many clues that should be whacking any potential buyer over the head.

I have not looked closely at the pix of the other stuff but it all may be real, but now that we know there's at least one that isn't, caveat emptor.

As Cannonmn said the line thrower is a fake, there is a local shop that has one just like it,

here is are 2 more repro's being sold for big money the iron castings are new! the brass barrel appear to be original...

look at the zink plated screw in the mix.... Also look at how many spokes there are in the wheels......

I think they have mixed original barrels with repro parts......

Now look at one that seems to have some real age to it......

Look at the number of spokes and other details .... heavier construction.........

Cannonmn, look at the engraving on this one it is not stamped but looks like it may have been done with a

panograph engraver....... Unless I was looking right at it in the same room and could inspect them closely

I am having problems with every one of the smaller cannon.

Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!

Allen, that one may be OK, hard to tell from pix alone, but wear and patina on bronze look real, patina on extractor thingy looks good, etc.  Barrel at least looks pretty good.  I'm surprised the iron has no trace of old paint on it.

So none of the Galbraith guns had wheels at all?
I've seen a few just like this for sale, the most recent sold on ebay for $1500.00.
I thought these were real. Good thing I couldn't afford it.

Basically none of the line guns with that general "sled carriage" design had wheels.  I can't say I've ever seen a line gun as we think of them with wheels, but some of the French mid-19th C. examples were old swivel guns remounted on special, metal two-wheel cannon carriages.

I'd never buy a "Galbraith style" line gun without a personal inspection because there are so many fakes out there.  I've only seen 3 or 4 real ones, ever, for sale, but I've seen over a dozen of the fake ones here and there.
