I've used the original Gorilla on several items, not this app though, a little tricky with it's expanding properties but it does have it's place. And just this summer I found Gorilla epoxy and tried it on some leather, worked like it should.
But my experiance with fast set 2 parts epoxies of several brands is; That here in Minn with huge temp swings, the fast set epoxies can and usually do shatter in cold weather. The epoxy will stay stuck to each side of the glued item but comes apart at the seam.
So I guess I'll stick with, the JB as recomended here in the faq's. Kinda afraid that a shim set in the summer at 80 will let loose during a simple loading at 10 during a november hunt. (knock on wood) It might not come out and cause a big headspace issue with lock up, but could change POI.
